WORKSHOP 1: Macrame Workshop

Join Denise Van Horan in a two day workshop where you will learn the art of Macrame. Macramé is a form of textile-making using knotting rather than weaving or knitting. Its primary knots are the square knot and forms of "hitching". It was long crafted by sailors, especially in elaborate or ornamental knotting forms, to decorate anything from knife handles to bottles and parts of ships.
Time: 10am - 4pm (each day)
Date: Saturday 12 August 2017 & Sunday 13 August 2017
Cost: $330 per person (includes MT/lunch/AT each day)
Students need: Creativity and desire to learn
Material provided: All material to build a 1m wide Macrame piece
