Wedding Day Emergency Kit
It is Murphy's Law that something will go wrong at the worst possible moment. To avoid collapsing in a blubbering mess on your wedding day if something does go wrong, be prepared. Here are Lazy River Estate's tips for a Wedding Day Emergency Kit to handle any ladder in a stocking, headache or blisters from new shoes.
- Small sewing kit with safety pins, needle and thread the colour of your gown, scissors and superglue (when all else fails)
- Two pairs of wedding stockings
- Clear nail polish to stop any small hole in your stockings spreading further
- Headache tablets, tampons, bandaids, lip balm and any prescription medicine
- Mini beauty kit: face powder, lipstick, mascara, hair pins, hair spray, comb, perfume
- Mobile phone, with all the numbers of people in your wedding party and providing support on the day already keyed in, including celebrant or minister, drivers, Lazy River Estate, photographer and DJ
- Map with directions to the church and reception venue in case your driver gets lost
- Bottle or two of champagne when it all goes to plan - or for when things go really wrong!
